About FireFront Operations
FIREFRONT OPERATIONS MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of FireFront Operations (FFO) is to deliver safe, professional, mobile, and highly skilled hand crews to international partners, supporting all phases of fire management and incident operations with excellence and reliability.
Global Wildfire Response Teams
FireFront Operations Inc. delivers tailored firefighting solutions to enhance the capabilities of national, regional, and local organizations globally. Specializing in training and deploying elite overhead resources from the United States, FFO’s operators act as catalysts for creating specialized local crews, leveraging the local workforce to develop highly trained teams. This approach not only strengthens fire management capabilities but also drives economic growth within the sector.
Comprised of Hotshot crews, Helitack teams, and Smokejumpers from the U.S., FFO professionals are deployed internationally to suppress wildfires and train local resources. These experts can rapidly establish Type 2IA and Type 1 crews to boost capacity for host countries, fostering sustainable and scalable fire management solutions. All FFO Legion crews adhere to NWCG standards and localized curricula, ensuring certification at every level—international, national, regional, and local.
Equipped for adaptability, FFO crews are logistically light and self-sustaining, capable of fielding 20–40-person teams based on partner needs. FFO personnel ensure fire readiness while mentoring and developing local crew members, leaving behind a robust and skilled workforce ready for future challenges.
Training Services
FireFront Operations Inc. (FFO) operates as both an on-demand and long-term training organization, focused on rapidly training local personnel to fill operational roles in Type 2 IA and Type 1 crews for contemporary wildfire incidents. Our training programs are designed to ensure that crews are fully prepared and capable of deployment.
Training will include NWCG courses to complete the Basic 40, with each course specifically crafted to address local needs and certification requirements. In partnership with national, regional, and local governing bodies, FFO ensures that all trained Regulars are fully qualified to respond to fire incidents.
Furthermore, FFO personnel will undergo regular refresher courses to ensure they meet or exceed certification standards set by national, regional, and local authorities, maintaining the highest level of readiness for every deployment.
